Overview
Screen cleaning is a per-screen add-on to any window cleaning, or booked on its own. Mesh traps everything our seasons throw at it: spring pollen, cottonwood fluff, summer dust, lawn clippings, and the fine road grit that blows off suburban arterials all year.
Dirty screens also cost you light and airflow. A clogged screen can cut visible light noticeably and restrict the breeze on the handful of perfect Chicago evenings when you actually want the windows open.

Our process

Remove and label
Each screen comes out and is tagged to its opening, so a bedroom screen never ends up in the dining room where it doesn't quite fit.

Dry-clear the mesh
Loose debris, cobwebs and insect nests are brushed out before any water touches the screen, so we're not turning dust into mud.

Wash both sides
Mesh is washed front and back with a gentle solution that releases embedded pollen and road film without stretching the screen.

Rinse and dry
Purified-water rinse leaves zero mineral residue, then screens are dried fully so they don't drip onto freshly cleaned glass.

Reinstall and report
Screens go back in their original openings, and we hand you a list of any damaged frames or torn mesh worth replacing.
