Pressure Washing
Restore driveways, patios, and walkways to like-new condition.
Overview
Concrete in the Northwest Suburbs ages fast. Freeze-thaw cycles open the surface, road salt and ice melt leave a white efflorescent bloom every spring, and the shaded north side of a driveway grows a green film of algae that turns dangerously slick after rain.
Pressure washing lifts all of it, but only when the pressure, the tip and the detergent are matched to the surface. We use a rotating surface cleaner on flat concrete so the finish comes out evenly, not in the zebra stripes a wand leaves behind.
What's included
- ✓Driveways, sidewalks, front walks and service pads
- ✓Patios, pool decks, porches and stoops
- ✓Even, stripe-free finish from a rotating surface cleaner on flat concrete
- ✓Pre-treatment on algae, mildew and organic staining so it's killed, not just rinsed
- ✓Spot treatment for oil, rust and leaf tannin stains
- ✓Lower-pressure settings and joint-safe technique on pavers, brick and stamped concrete
Our process
- 1
Assess the surface
We identify the material, poured concrete, pavers, stamped, brick, or sealed, and set pressure and tip accordingly.
- 2
Prep and protect
Landscaping is pre-wetted, furniture and grills are moved, and nearby plantings are shielded before any detergent goes down.
- 3
Pre-treat the growth
Algae, mildew and organic staining are treated with a biodegradable solution and given dwell time so the growth is killed at the root, not just knocked off.
- 4
Surface clean
A rotating surface cleaner passes the whole slab at consistent pressure for an even finish, with a wand used only for edges, steps and detail work.
- 5
Rinse and inspect
Everything is rinsed, landscaping is flushed clean, and we walk the surface with you to review the result and point out any staining that is permanent.
